About This Game

 

Genesis Saga is a game prototype created for the Games and interactivity class at UT Austin, Spring 2025.

Inspiration

Genesis is a 14 year old English mastiff that is, by definition, a medical miracle. She loves to get into food she should not eat and lay around all day.

I decided to make a videogame about her because she runs a lot in her sleep. She is too old to be active anymore, but I like to imagine that she dreams of running around and eating all the food she can find.

Synopsis

Genesis Saga follows genesis through her dream world. The section featured in the demo is part of a level called The Boulder Realm, in which the Boulder people have been displaced by the sudden appearance of toxic mush that is poisonous to them. Luckily, this mush resembles human food delicacies such as cake, cookies, burgers, etc. Selfless as she is, Genesis will help the boulder people by ridding them from these pesky treats.
